1 Cor 11: 1 And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ.
Phil 4: 9 Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me - everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
Heb 13: 17 Obey your spiritual leaders, and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this with joy and not with sorrow. That would certainly not be for your benefit.
Mat 23: 11, 12 The greatest among you must be a servant. 12 But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
John 10: 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep.
Prov 27: 23 Know the state of your flocks, and put your heart into caring for your herds.
1 Tim 5: 17 Elders who do their work well should be respected and paid well, especially those who work hard at both preaching and teaching.
1 Pet 5: 5 - 7 In the same way, you who are younger must accept the authority of the elders. And all of you, dress yourselves in humility as you relate to one another, for 'God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.' 6 So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. 7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
