NIV Memory Book - Leaders and Shepherds

1 Cor 11: 1 Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.
Phil 4: 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me - put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
Heb 13: 17 Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.
Mat 23: 11, 12 'The greatest among you will be your servant. 12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.'
John 10: 11 'I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.'
Prov 27: 23 Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds.
1 Tim 5: 17 The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.
1 Pet 5: 5 - 7 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, 'God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.' 6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Prov 11: 14 For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers.
